Orientation for 2 days!!??? WTH!?

I didnt know the orientation last for 2 days. The letter did not write about 2 days and said to come to the college at 2 pm. The registrar told me to go to 2nd floor to collect my student ID card and a list of art materials. The moment i receive my student ID card, i was shocked to see missing photo on my card. They must have forgotten to stick my picture on the card. The registrar told me to stick myself and can change to another photo whenever I like. There I met my first friend, Zhi Ling in the college. She came up to me and we start talking to each other. She's from Penang =). I get to meet some new friends during orientation. Two of them are from Taman Sea school and the other is from Terengganu.

First day of orientation on Friday, they had some introduction of the college, principals speech, dont remember who else speech........welcome you to the college and all. Lastly, Tatsun Hoi, principal of TOA came and have a talk. He was saying how to prepare a workplace for ourselves. Place a coffee maker at the corner of the room?! How could you encourage students to drink coffee everyday? Do you want us to be killed by cafeinne?? It was boring after sometime and I fell asleep the last few minutes, plus I'm was sitting right in front. I guess he saw me.....hopefully not.

I had no choice but to skip my trip to Singapore. My grandma got angry and start babbeling that I promise to go and I'm breaking the promise by making an excuse I have to attend college on Saturday. Sigh.......old folks......what can I say..? I have not gotten any timetable from the lecturer in charge. And so.........guess what, we went through the student handbook for the whole day!! They were strict on student attendance and assignment datelines. None of the lecturers called my name. I had to personally get the timetable from the SRA. I wasn't the only one asking for timetable. Many of the students did not get their timetables. Zhi Ling is in the same class as me =). At least I dont have to feel lonely in class. Practically, the 2nd day of orientation is just a waste of time. I should have gone to Singapore!!!!! get a new hairstyle!! hunt for high heels!!! sigh....... =_="

GE limited signature edition box set!!!!

I've been wanted to buy the box set for a long time but it was pricey. Then I thought it was sold out and didn't bother to look for it anymore. I always see players asking to buy Emilia the Sage card (ETS) in-game. After checking out her profile, she has some additional stances which the normal Emilia Giannino does not have it. ETS can fly or you could say levitate =). She is able to use Levitation and Psychokinesis stance.

One day at Digital Mall, I saw a shop selling the box set. The shop charge RM198!!!!! I was like "WHHATTTT!!?? That freaking expensive wei!" so, didn't buy it. I search at gameshop.com that still sell the box set. The price is SG$79.90 converted RM187. The shipping will be free if the orders are above SG$35 and delivered within Singapore. They charge extra SG$5 shipping to Malaysia. In total, the box set with the shipping fee would cost around RM197. What's the point of paying that amount of money and have to wait 9 - 12 working days for package arrive? I went to the same shop selling the box set to bargain the price. I was shocked that the box set is selling at RM190. I immediately grab one and check out the box. There is a Certificate of Authenticity with serial number matching the serial number printed at the bottom of the box. Mine is 4112 of 9999. WEEEEEEE~! FINALLY I BOUGHT IT!!!! XD

Two weeks part-time job

My mom asked me whether I would want to work at MCA PJS for two weeks. They needed more people to help during the election. I invited a friend of mine to work with me. The boss lady there, Ms. Sharon charge pay RM50 approximately 10 working hours a day. I didnt really care about the working hours. I work as long as I want, sign in/sign out whenever I want. Just like she said it is just a voluntary job. I do not need to put much commitment on my job since the pay is only RM5 per hour.

The first day was absolutely unexpected. We were told to sort out the merchandise such as caps, shirts, badges, umbrellas,.......and etc etc. We even need to cut the banners! One of the staff allowed us to take something back home. Both of us took umbrella, the best merchandise from what I think. The staff insisted us to take the t-shirt. I wouldn't want it. You see *coughs* the big boss's face on front t-shirt. The quality of the t-shirt is bad and S size is men's cutting. Later at lunch, we had nasi lemak. In fact, this part-time job is good. They provide lunch and dinner for you =).

The following day onwards, we had proper jobs. We were put under IT section whereby we pick up calls for enquiry and print the voter paper for them. Nevertheless, we still do other jobs given by Ms. Sharon. At times, we were too free and went online. The wireless network connection is sooooooo slowwwwwww. This time, we had tastier food; squid, lemon chicken, steamed fish,..........etc!!!! (too many. can't name it all) All very delicious XD. I took few rounds of the food. But most of the time, the food finishes very fast. It's not alot and first come, first serve. The moment the food arrives, hurry run to the food =p. If not, walk out and eat at one of the nearby shops.

I was caught in one photo in Star newspaper. I was kinda busy doing something back then. Suddenly, I saw flashes here and there, looked up and saw big boss. I immediately stood up. He said to sit back and continue what I am doing. There you have, a snapshot of me ^^.

On the election day, I had to reached the office by 7 a.m. There was nothing to do until the evening. I decided to leave first asking permission from my boss. At last my job is done. I don't have to work there anymore. Free at lassstt!!

Valentines day is just another day for me to pass. I may not receive any roses from any guys in reality but virtually, yes. My faction leader gave me handmade chocolates and heart spray^^. Thanks Muz. You are so sweet~! ^_^ I shall train my character more so that I can help lvl up the faction. Hehe.......

Gahhhh......I havent been blogging for very long. Sorry for leaving you blog T-T. I was lazy at times and later then busy working part-time at office. Now, I'm back to post previous history up till latest.

I'm on TV!!!! did you see me~?! XD

On CNY eve, 6/1/08, I went out with my family for dinner at Bangsar Village. As usual the chinese way, we do "lou sang". Carry the food as high as you can with the chopstick. We had the normal set dishes. The only food I like among all the dishes is the 'Prawn York". That was will delicious~! Not few tables away from us, we saw RTM2 cameraman recording at on of the tables. The RTM2 crews came to our table and request for an interview for CNY. My cousins, sister and I took the interview and wish for the best for CNY. The last part of the interview, my whole family "GONG XI FA CHAI" together. The crew member told us that they will inform us when they will show the interview on TV.

Around the afternoon today, 15/1/08 my aunt called and said the interview has shown already. My cousin sis's friend saw her interview on CNY eve that day itself. We knew nothing about it........ Anyway.....did any of you saw me on TV? XD

Mega Chinese New Year shopping

Shopping for CNY clothes wouldn't take more that 2 days to find the ones you like. I practically took 5 days this year and bought more than before. Apparently I broke the record by going out shopping for 4 days straight this week. This is how it all started.........

Day 1: 1/1/2008, One UTAMA
Objective: take pictures, clothes

We intend to go there to take pictures with Christmas deco. It has not put down although it is New Year day. Last year Christmas decoration is really beautiful. You see a HUGE nutcracker playing the drum and smaller nutcrackers around it placed on the keyboard key. A stairway leading up near the head of HUGE nutcracker. Mom, sis and I took pictures together.

Sis bought a hat for herself for 20% discount and wore it on the spot XD. I tried few slim cut jeans in Romp but it never fit well in me. At the end, I bought nothing.

Day 2: 20/1/2008, Mid Valley
Objective: Clothes, pants, shoe

I went out with my mom to Mid Valley on Sunday to hunt CNY clothes together. There wasn't any CNY decorations put up that day. We spend most of out times in Jusco scouting where there are lots of sales. I've gotten myself two pieces of blouse, a white pants and dark blue(nearly black) DIESEL jeans.

Day 3: 21/1/2008, Mid Valley/The Gardens

Objective: have a walk, accompany grandma

My aunt and cousin bro came to our house around 3 p.m and invite grandma and I for a walk at Mid Valley and The Gardens. They just wanted to collect my cousin bro pants that was left at one of the shops in The Gardens for alteration. As you know it is a weekday, there was very few people walking around at MV moreover at Gardens. I saw this pretty light green chinese blouse at Gardens that cost RM300+. The clothes sold there are all high range and price is more than RM100 onwards. We walked across back to MV.

Grandma and aunt went up to the highest floor to look at feng shui. Cousin bro and me decided to walk alone after they are done looking at feng shui stuff. We went to few boutiques that sell formal clothing and compare the materials, designs, price and whatever we can talk about formal clothes. We went into Guess boutique, saw this plain yellow singlet cost RM199!!!!!! What kind of singlet is that?! Some clothes more expensive than usual clothes we see. As i read the tag properly it is Guess by "Marciano". My cousin start saying MAR-CI-A-NO with slang.

We even walk to Jusco again =p. I saw this red shirt partly traditional design near the entrance. I wanted to buy it but forgotten to bring enough money. So, I waited for grandma to pay. The shirt even have 20% discount!! It is so worth to buy. We arrived at home around 6.30 p.m.

Day 4: 22/1/2008, One UTAMA
Objective: Hunt for shoes, accompany grandpa & grandma

I had my first 12 hours driving class in the morning after waited for two weeks since the last class. It was horrible for me. I don't remember how to control the clutch and break. Thus, always causing the car to 'die'. I practiced the 3-pointer and turn up to hit the pole >.<. I even switch to a wrong gear while doing 3-pointer. I was suppose to change from first gear to reverse gear but............I didn't push much the handle to the right and ended up at fourth gear -.-". This is really embarassing.

Not long after lunch, my aunt came by again and took grandpa, grandma and I to 1U. My grandpa bought a new shoe for RM70+ only. The shoe actually cost RM200+. There was discount 70% for the shoe. Mission accomplished for grandpa. Next is grandma. She didn't buy anything either do I. Somehow we couldn't find anything we like. Not many people shop there and we are free to take pictures whenever we want to. We had to take longer way to go reach upper or lower floor using the lift because my grandpa can't walk far. I took some pictures with aunt's camera of the CNY decorations at the new wing and old wing.

Day 5: 23/1/2008, One Utama

Objective: must get shoes!!!!!

Mom, sis and I walk to Jusco again. I found this shoes, tried it on, like 'em, resonable price (too bad no discount *sigh*) swap sis's credit card *ka-ching!* and I'm done. My sis only got a pair of jeans from Romp. My mom bought new fake yellow flowers for house deco. I am darn tired for shopping 4 days in a row at the same shopping mall.

I decided to follow mom to dance line dancing. I had a light dinner, change to proper exercise clothes and off I go. Suprisingly, I met someone I knew at the court. He is my ex-tuition friend playing basketball with a friend at the court. I did not call out him. I just could not remember his name. I was bored there as I didn't dance for whole 2 hours class. I didn't want to interupt them for they are practising dance for new year performance. Me and my mom returned home right after the class finish.
